Main Research Fields

Light serves as both the primary energy source for photosynthesis and a critical environmental signal that regulates the entire plant life cycle. My laboratory focuses on the cutting-edge fields of light perception, signal transduction, and energy utilization in plants. By integrating multidisciplinary approaches, including biochemistry, structural biology, and genetics, we are dedicated to two key research areas:

1. Red/far-red light signal transduction in plants;

2. Biosynthesis of photosynthetic pigments.
