My research area is high performance computing, the main research contents include accelerating core algorithms of multiple cross disciplines (such as Life sciences, Physics, Chemistry, medicine, Pharmacy, etc.) on different computing platforms, such as multi-core CPU, multi-core processor mic, graphics processing unit GPU, Field Programmable gate array FPGA. According to the characteristics of different computing platforms, the algorithm redesign, implementation, optimization and porting are carried out in order to obtain better performance improvement, so as to help the scientists to improve the research efficiency and accelerate their research process.

Development and application of single particle technique of cryo-electron microscopy.

With the background of clinical medicine and neurobiology, I am familiar with the neural mechanism of pain and pain modulation. We used the animal behavioral, immunohistochemical, electrophysiological as well as chemogenetics and optogenetics techniques to explore the mechanisms of chronic stress affects the sensory and emotional components of chronic neuropathic pain in rats.

Structural and functional studies of Alzheimer's Disease related membrane protein complex:γ-secretase.

Major research field is the high throughput screening and identification of splicing inhibitors. The dynamics of spliceosome pose a challenge to detailed mechanistic studies of splicing. Small molecule inhibitors that target components of the spliceosome have great potential as tools to probe important functional components and reveal spliceosome assembly mechanism. My project aims to identify novel spicing inhibitors to investigate splicing mechanism and dissect splicing regulatory networks in cells.
